Money raised for Myton Hospice by Finham Park students
Finham Park students raised money for Myton Hospice this week through a Bake Off cake challenge and 20 minute Gingerbread house Technical challenge. Staff and students had fun together, competing and raising money to support.
Myton Hospice believe that 'everyone matters for every single moment of their life and treating patients with dignity and respect is more important than meeting targets'.

They say:
At Myton, we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option; supporting people living with a wide range of terminal illnesses, and their families, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. Our work centres on empowering our patients to achieve their goals and involving them in decisions about their current and future care. By focussing on their wellbeing and seeing them and not the illness we aim to help them re-engage with their lives and give them more quality time with their families and loved ones.
We know how precious every moment is when you or someone you care for has an illness that can’t be cured, and that is why we work so hard to ensure those final years, months, weeks or even hours are as good as they can be.
