Creative Arts Activities
Guitar Ensemble - Mondays in E11, 3:00-3:45
Guitarists of all types (electric, acoustic, traditional and bass) and standards are all welcome to join the Guitar Ensemble which will be led by Ted Dwyer Head of Guitar for the Coventry Performing Arts Service. Students who have lessons as well as those who are self-taught are all welcome.
Year 11 Twilight GCSE Drama - Tuesdays in the Theatre, 3-5pm
Music Theory Classes - Tuesdays 12:45-1:20 OR Fridays 12:45-1:20 in E12
Whether you're looking to take Grade 5 Theory this year or would just like to improve your music theory skills, Mrs Warhurst will be running classes twice a week. Both classes will be on during early lunch so that you can pick the one you are available for. Just bring a packed lunch to E12.
Souled Out (Soul Band) - Tuesdays in E12, 3:00-5:00pm
Open to students in Year 10 and above, by audition when places are available. Mr Fuller and Mrs Warhurst lead this group.
Whole School Film Club - Wednesdays in B11, 3-5.30pm
Windband - Thursdays Venue TBC, 3:00-3:45pm
Windband is open to any student who plays woodwind or brass instruments (flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon saxophone, trumpet, trombone, horn or tuba) at any level. Miss Atherton has been busy picking out some great pieces to play.
String Ensemble - Thursdays in E12, 3:00-3:45pm
All string players (Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass) of any level are welcome to join the string ensemble led by Mr Thomas.
