The development of the Physical Education department has been built upon a 4 tier pyramid system. Each level of the department is equally important in the continued success of the department. Hover over a part of the pyramid below to read a little more about that area.
Flagship Sport
The department will give particular priority to the sports below. The aim is to make Finham Park the leading school in Coventry in these sports, and to eventually gain success at County, Regional & National competitions.
Boys: Athletics, Cricket, Rugby
Girls: Netball, Trampolining, Athletics College Sports Programme
At the start of the 2008 Academic year the department will launch a new inter-college sports. This will involve students competing for their colleges in a variety of different sports. The Culmination of this new exciting programme will be sports day. Extra-curricular & Sport
With the help of many other teachers at Finham the department is able to offer an extensive variety of extra-curricular. Clubs are offered before, during and after school. Curriculum
The curriculum is at foundation of our successful department. A new modern curriculum will be introduced in September 2008. |
