PE kit & valuables
It is expected that all students in year 7-10 wear the correct Finham Park PE kit to their games and PE lessons. In year 11 PE uniform rules are relaxed.
Pupils are expected to bring their kit to every lesson. If pupils are suffering from illness or are injured they are still expected to bring their PE kit, as they can take part in some aspect in the lesson whether it be skills, refereeing, coaching or organizing equipment. If students do bring notes we advise them to wear extra-warm sporting clothes over the top of their PE kit. There is a stock of lost property kit that can be borrowed by students. Pupils are encouraged to ensure all kit is clearly named/labeled. Plain black jogging bottoms with the Finham logo can be worn in cold weather - staff to decide when it is cold weather.
Students will receive a consequence if they forget any part of their kit. If they receive 3 consequences they will automatically receive an hours school detention. A member of the PE department will also ring home.
Long Term illness/injury: Pupils will need a note from their doctor stating the amount of time during which they are unable to participate practically in a lesson. In this event students will be allowed to use the library facilities in order to undertake a project relating to an area of sport in which they are interested. The work is monitored by the member of staff at the end of each lesson.

Valuables
The PE department takes no responsibility for lost or stolen valuables. Students are told this clearly at the start of the year. Students have the right to hand in all valuables at the start of the lesson to the PE office. Valuables will be put onto a numbered shelf. When collecting valuables pupils must state what number their valuables are in. No student has permission to enter the PE offices without permission. Once all students are changed the office door, and both access routes from the boys changing rooms are also locked.
