Athletics in curriculum

In the summer of 2008 the department introduced a new Athletics Awards Scheme for students in years 7-9. Throughout their athletics lessons all students will be taught the techniques and skills needed in running, throwing and jumping events. In each event students will score points for how well they perform. At the end of the unit students will combine their top three scores giving them an overall total.
