Departments: Business Studies & Economics
The Business Studies Department offer a variety of courses to suit students of all abilities and interests. The department have three newly furnished dedicated classrooms all fitted with computer stations for students use and projectors with interactive whiteboards. Lessons involve a mixture of written, verbal, creative, research and computer based activities.
 The department currently teach over 250 students including 120 at Key Stage 5. Many of the students taking Key Stage 5 qualifications use their enthusiasm for the subject to go on to Higher Education to study Business and Economics related courses. The department's results have been very pleasing in recent years, including this year 70% of our A2 Business Studies students achieved an A or B grade!
