What is the 2X Client Utility?
The 2X Client utility is available for Download by clicking on the green button to the top right of the screen.
It is also available for download from the Finham Park Homepage.
The 2X Client Utility allows Students to directly login to School computers from Home.
All School programs are available to you that you would otherwise not have access to.
What login details do I use? > Do not use your Team Login <
Please login with your username & password that you would use in a normal computer
classroom.Do not enter your Team login details as they will not work and are not linked
In any way.
As an example:
Username: 03jamcor
Password: *********
Internet Explorer Only
You login to your account, but you receive an error upon
clicking on Student Desktop?
This is due to a Firewall configured on your PC. Some firewalls available include Norton, AVG, Zone Alarm, Microsoft Security Essentials. To confirm that your firewall is blocking communication, temporarily turn it off, launch the 2X Client and login, and double click on student desktop. If this launches without a problem, then you need to add a program exception, or view the log files to determine what part of your firewall setup is blocking access. Students:
You cannot Install the
Codec on School
Computers.
Staff:
Please see the
Technicians as they will
install the Utility for you.
